Soroptimist International Bangalore successfully concluded its World Education Day webinar on STEM Education, bringing together more than 100 educators, school leaders, and educationists from across India, with strong participation from Bengaluru.
The virtual session fostered meaningful dialogue on the evolving role of education in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Discussions highlighted the urgent need to integrate STEAM education into K–12 curricula and addressed the practical challenges schools face while adopting STEM frameworks. Panelists and speakers also shared scalable, solution-oriented approaches to bridge these gaps.

Participants emphasized that STEM education is no longer optional but essential for preparing future-ready learners. Teachers were recognized as pivotal facilitators who nurture curiosity, innovation, and critical problem-solving skills in classrooms.
