Tassle Tales – Weaving Skills, Creating Livelihoods

Every tassel tells a story of hope, dignity, and financial independence.

Under the inspiring leadership and sponsorship of Mrs. Menaka Venugopal, Tassle Tales trained 40 women in the art of saree tassel making, equipping them with a skill they can transform into a home-based livelihood.

More than a craft workshop, the programme encouraged women to, build confidence, embrace entrepreneurship, and believe in the power of consistency and quality. The session was further enriched by SIB members Anitha Belagodu & Bharti Maheshwari who shared insights on mental well-being and practical strategies to market their products and grow their businesses.

TassleTales is Mrs. Menaka's labour of love—proving that when women are given the right skills and support, they don't just create beautiful products; they create the ability to earn.
