Green Energy – Biogas: Powering a Sustainable Future 🌱♻️

Soroptimist International Bangalore is proud to support Green Energy through the installation of a 9 m³ biogas plant at Belaku Academy by Ashwini Angadi. By converting 50 kg of daily kitchen waste into clean biogas and organic fertilizer, the project provides renewable cooking fuel for 85 residents, reduces LPG consumption, lowers carbon emissions, and promotes a circular economy. More than an environmental initiative, it is a sustainable solution that enhances the quality of life for visually impaired and differently abled children while demonstrating how waste can become a valuable resource. Together with Belaku Academy and Get Green Bio Energy, we are building a cleaner, greener, and more resilient future.
