As a part of our work for the CWE project in collboration with Hasiru Dala We had a highly engaging session led by our member, Bharati Maheshwari, Textile Designer & Entrepreneur on product design. She walked the "Needle & Stitch", SHG team through core design principles, colour theory, value addition, and what makes a product truly market-ready and saleable.

As a next step, Bharati will dedicate one session each month to guide the 13 women to fine tune their products and add value to them for market ready products. These sessions will focus on hands-on demonstrations, selection of products with strong market potential, and techniques to enhance quality, finish, and value. This continued mentorship will help the women refine their Soroptimist International Bangalore
