The second cohort of DGCA-Recognised DronePilotCertificate empowers Karnataka’s lady police officers with specialised training in safe and lawful drone operations, in association with FICCI FLO and Soroptimist International Bangalore sponsored program under the guidance of Bharti Maheshwari.
The 7 day rigorous training by Neosky equipped the lady police officer to handle real-time surveillance, traffic and crowd monitoring, search & rescue, disaster response, VIP security, and evidence recording from the air. Officers learn essential airspace rules, emergency handling, and risk management- ensuring safe and compliant drone use.
This certification & valedictory was held on 30th Nov, 2025, certification distribution by SIB president, Sudha Sudha Manandi and Dr. Rumi Sikdar, PAC.
The training helps build internal Drone Response Teams, reduces dependence on external agencies, and opens pathways to advanced roles like drone instructor, payload operator, and forensic drone imaging specialist-creating new opportunities for women in police technology and operations.
